Toulouse: the manager of a food truck suspected of selling drugs in large quantities
At the end of a thorough investigation, the police officers of the departmental security of Haute-Garonne managed to arrest several individuals, suspected of selling drugs in large quantities.
The investigation was launched in early 2021, following suspicions of a dishonest man who ran a fast food restaurant in the Sesquières area, in Toulouse, according to information from The Dispatch.
During their investigation, the police realized that catering was only a secondary activity, to cover up drug trafficking. Significant technical resources were deployed, which enabled investigators to identify the right-hand man of the head of the network.
During an intervention last week, 8 people were arrested during an operation, supported by the Toulouse Raid. During the searches, more than 10,000 euros, 250 gr of cocaine, more than 1.5 kg of cannabis and herb resin were seized, in addition to … a jet-ski.
Defense lawyers, interviewed by La Dépêche, declined to comment on this case, which involved individuals hitherto known for their involvement in drug trafficking.
