Toulouse: the manager of a food-truck suspected of selling cocaine in large quantities
Police officers specializing in the fight against narcotics arrested several individuals suspected of selling cocaine in large quantities.
Long and patient investigations allowed the police of the departmental security of Haute-Garonne to put an end to the illicit activities of a team suspected of prospering in the wholesale cocaine trade. The investigation began at the beginning of the year from information gathered in a previous file on the light of the dishonest activities of a man who managed a food truck in the area of Sesquières, in Toulouse.
If the restaurant occupied this 41-year-old Toulousain, the police quickly acquired the certainty that he served more cocaine than the dish of the day. Pursued under rogatory commission, the surveillance was accumulated with significant technical means (camera, sound system) which enabled the police to identify the contacts of the restaurant owner. In particular a 34-year-old man, a real right-hand man trained by the boss on the cocaine deal.
10,000 € and a jet ski
Last week, with the support of the Toulouse Raid, an operation was long of this duration and eight people were arrested including a mechanic who allegedly used his garage to hide money and drugs. Over € 10,000, 250g of cocaine, over 1.5kg of cannabis, resin and weed, were seized during the searches – plus a jet ski!
At the end of their police custody where the suspects, in particular the main person concerned, did not show themselves to be talkative, six men were presented to the examining magistrate, indicted and imprisoned. Defense lawyers, in particular Mes Caroline Marty-Daudibertères, Séverine Bouib and Jacques Derieux prefer to avoid comments on a case qualified as “solid” and who have met with individuals hitherto not known for their involvement in trafficking narcotics.
