Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in an article for the magazine “Kommersant” declaredthat Ukraine has no values in the confrontation between the West and Russia, and assessed Western politics with the phrase “there are no fools to fight for Ukraine.”
He expressed confidence that at present the country is under foreign rule, which is much tougher than the interaction of the Soviet community with some countries of the socialist camp.
“Ukraine itself has no values on the line of confrontation between Western forces. There are no fools to fight for Ukraine. And it makes no sense for us to deal with the vassals. Business must be done by the overlord, ”- Medvedev Prize.
The deputy chairman of the Security Council added that for Russia in relations with Kiev, one can wait for the emergence of “sane leadership”, which will be aimed at confrontation on the brink of war and the creation of “moronic Crimean platforms.” He concluded that negotiations are possible only if the Ukrainian authorities are committed to equal and mutually beneficial contacts with Moscow.
Earlier, Medvedev of Ukraine said that negotiations with the current leadership are pointless. He explained this by the fact that in Kiev there are ignorant and optional people who do not have definite positions, and indicated that in this way they “understand the art of diplomacy” in Kiev.
