This Saturday, some opponents of the implementation of the health pass in Toulouse. A mobilization which took place calmly and which was temporarily added to the pride march organized on the same day at the same time.
For the 13th consecutive Saturday, several hundred demonstrators contesting in particular the implementation of the health pass in France and the vaccination obligation beat the pavement, this Saturday afternoon in Toulouse. As with each mobilization, the procession first formed at the exit of the Jean Jaurès metro.
Except that around 2 pm, multicolored flags began to mix with the signs “not to the sanitary pass”. Indeed, at the same time, the LGBTQ + pride march was launched in downtown Toulouse. At the start of the event, a participant in the mobilization against the health pass encouraged those present to join in this march. “We can for once go to express themselves in the city, the city center is for everyone. We can thus join the pride march, by facing them”, chanted this protester at the microphone.
A few minutes later, the procession of about 450 people (police number) headed for rue Alsace Lorraine where an imposing float in the colors of the Pride march was enthroned.
For long minutes, the two mobilizations were therefore telescoped to the point where some demonstrators fiercely opposed to the establishment of the health pass wondered where to go. Two groups then converged on Place Wilson making several tours in the hypercentre. The demonstration ended calmly at the end of the day.
