The right lane is closed in Za Viaduktem Street on Friday, October 15, and cars drive in the left lane.
The delay in the column was about ten minutes. “Every column is, of course, unpleasant, there are more than enough of them in Prague now. It’s unpleasant for me because both Zenklovka and Argentinská become clogged in the morning, so when I need to go to Karlín, I can choose which column to stand in, “ said one of the drivers in the convoy to Pražská Drbna this morning Libor Bartošák.
“Patience will need to be armored.” says the mayor
The second phase of repairs will take place from October 23 to 31, it will be the Argentine passage from the center and to the center only by lane. The final phase of the reconstruction will begin on November 1, 2021, and its end has not yet been determined. However, half of the lane in the direction from the center will be closed. Argentinská Street will be passable in the direction from the center by one lane and Za Viaduktem Street by one lane from the center and the other to the center.
The repair in Argentinská is carried out in coordination with the repair of the tram line on Bubenské nábřeží, the reconstruction of traffic lights at the intersection of Argentinská and Plynárná and the transfer of high voltage in Argentinská. At the same time, the repair is necessary due to further reconstruction of the sewerage system, gas pipeline, roadways and the pedestrian promenade on Bubenské nábřeží.
In addition, at the end of October, the construction site for the forecourt of the future footbridge between Holešovice and Karlín would have to be handed over. “It will be necessary to arm yourself with patience, because it will be necessary to reconstruct a part of the tram line across Argentinská, where quiet asphalt will be laid and part of it will be the transformation of the forecourt of the future footbridge around the Prague Market Square. Transport will be difficult in this area, but it is necessary to understand that this is a truly exceptional project, the footbridge is simply built once every 120 years, “ said the mayor of Prague 7 for Pražská Drbna Jan Čižinský (Prague itself).
