Commercial areas are offered at the Expo Real in Munich
Expo Real in Munich
:
Focus on Kaarster Kreuz and Kaarst-Ost
Kaarst The city of Kaarst has mainly land for two commercial areas in its luggage for the trip to the commercial real estate fair Expo Real in Munich.
The city of Kaarst WILL be forced to take a break from 11 to 13 October after a year. The city will also share a joint stand with the Lower Rhine region. Kaarst is represented by Mayor Ursula Baum, treasurer Stefan Meuser and economic promoter Verena Philipsen.
According to the administration, the focus will be on interesting windows for modern office properties in the Business Square (old Ikea site) as well as on plots for the new digital world. In the Digital Square (Kaarster Kreuz), the trio will particularly highlight the outstanding data infrastructure.
In addition to fiber optic lines, the city even offers redundant lines in this area. “This is suitable for all security aspects of modern server administration,” explains city spokesman Peter Böttner in the run-up to the fair in mid-October in Munich.
Last year, the fair was canceled due to the corona situation, as Munich had been declared a risk area on October 12, 2020 and many participants had declared their waiver of the Expo Real. For the new mayor Ursula Baum and business development manager Verena Philipsen it is the first Expo Real, treasurer Stefan Meuser was already a guest at the real estate fair. After the last physical visit – at that time with Ulrike Nienhaus as mayor – it was said that the city of Kaarst had made many good contacts – but the commercial space is still empty.
Perhaps the Kaarst delegation can attract a buyer this year or at least arouse interest in the urban industrial areas. In view of the tight budget situation in the city, a property sale and the associated trade tax income would not be wrong. But whether this will happen at or after the trade fair in Munich remains to be seen.
