Toulouse: an intoxicated man hit a scooter in the Saint-Michel district
A violent traffic accident took place this Thursday evening around 10 p.m. at the Saint-Michel bridge in Toulouse. The driver of a scooter was struck from behind by a motorist and got stuck between two cars.
Around 9 p.m. this Thursday evening, a violent traffic accident took place in the Saint-Michel district in Toulouse. For an as yet undetermined reason, a vehicle traveling at high speed on the Saint-Michel bridge struck the driver of a scooter from the rear. In the impact, the moped will find himself stuck between the vehicle that hit him and the one in front. The Haute-Garonne firefighters and the police were called to the scene of the accident.
On the spot, the police will blow the man who was driving the vehicle at the origin of the collision. This 46-year-old man is found to be positive for alcohol. He was arrested and taken into custody. The 29-year-old driver of the two-wheeler, slightly injured, was taken care of by the firefighters and transported to the Purpan hospital center. The 29-year-old motorist driving the second vehicle reported pain but was not transported to hospital.
An investigation was opened to try to understand the circumstances of this accident. The investigations were entrusted to the police officers of the right bank.
