Russky Island may become the first territory in the Primorsky Territory, which will develop in accordance with a comprehensive plan prepared jointly by the Government of the region and the corporation “Tourism.rf”. Opportunities for such a project were discussed the day before, on October 7, by the Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako and the first deputy of the corporation Denis Sekachev.
The interaction of the Primorsky Territory with the corporation is carried out within the framework of an international agreement signed during the sixth Eastern Economic Forum. This document, enshrined agreementsreached in July this year. Now “Turizm.rf” starts the next stage of cooperation, which involves the use of the concept of tourism development of the region, detailed planning, identification of the most interesting and popular travel travelers.
As a “pilot” for such master planning, Oleg Kozhemyako is the Russky Island. There are already operating tourist facilities, but the full tourist potential of this territory has not yet been revealed.

Already in the current year, the effect on the development of domestic tourism is being stimulated, they have brought an effect. According to the head of the region, the Primorsky Territory has clear advantages over other Far Eastern regions due to its geographical location. Primorye has the warmest sea in the entire Far East, which, combined with its unique nature, can compete with the regions of Russia, which are traditionally distributed by residents of the country for summer beach holidays. But this requires a developed tourist infrastructure, which is now lacking in the region.
“The tourism industry is a significant and important segment of the Primorye economy, special attention is paid to it, but for its successful development there is a high-quality, competitive world-class infrastructure. For this, we are ready, together with you, to start work on the integrated development of tourist areas of the Primorsky Territory on the basis of the developed master plans, ”the head of the region said.
