Poland-San Marino and Georgia-Greece, World Cup qualifiers: predictions
Poland-San Marino and Georgia-Greece are two matches valid for the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and will be played on Saturday: predictions.
GEORGIA – GREECE | Saturday at 18:00
Willy Sagnol’s experience on the Georgia bench did not start well. In eight games, the Frenchman has collected only one victory: the one against Romania, on the occasion of a friendly played last June 2nd. The technical level of the players, moreover, is not exactly very high.
Located at the bottom of their qualifying round for the next World Cup, with just one point to their credit, the Georgian national team approaches with little confidence the match against Greece, which still hopes to reach the playoffs, despite being aware of having a difficult path in front of him.
In Batumi, guests will start slightly favorites. Having historically been used to being much more effective in defensive terms than in possession of the ball, however, they will struggle to become dangerous with great continuity from the trocar up. This comparison, in short, promises to be unspectacular.
The prediction
The overall goals will likely be no more than two. Greece could win at least one point.
The probable formations of Georgia-Greece
GEORGIA (4-5-1): Loria; Kakabadze, Khocholava, Lochoshvili, Giorbelidze; Davitashvili, Mamuchashvili, Kankava, Aburjania, Chakvetadze; Okriashvili.
GREECE (3-4-3): Vlachodimos; Chatzidiakos, Mavropanos, Tzavellas; Androutsos, Mantalos, Bouchalakis, Tsimikas; Bakasetas, Pavlidis, Douvikas.
POSSIBLE RESULT: 0-1

POLAND – SAN MARINO | Saturday at 8.45pm
Currently third in their qualifying round for the next World Cup, Poland is at least trying to reach second place in the standings, a placement through which you can access the playoffs. The team coached by Paulo Sousa will try to take advantage of the match scheduled in this round between Hungary and Albania, the other two selections fighting to get to the play-offs. The primacy of England, on the other hand, does not seem in direct discussion: in fact, the qualification for the world championship will escape the national team of the Three Lions.
San Marino – which has not yet scored any points on the road to Qatar 2022 – will almost represent a very easy obstacle for Poland, ready to take a seat on display from the opening minutes of the match scheduled in Warsaw.
Robert Lewandowski, in particular, should go wild. The formidable Bayern Munich center forward scores with an impressive frequency and would have probably won the Ballon d’Or in 2020, had the outbreak of the pandemic not led “France Football” to suspend the awarding of the trophy for a year.
Poland-San Marino: the prediction
Poland should take the lead at half-time, win and score more than four goals.
The probable formations of Poland-San Marino
POLAND (3-5-2): Fabianski; Dawidowicz, Bednarek, Helik; Bereszynski, Szymanski, Moder, Kozlowski, Frankowski; Piatek, Lewandowski.
SAN MARINO (5-4-1): E. Benedettini; but. Battistini, Brolli, Simoncini, Fabbri, Grandoni; Zafferani, Mularoni, E. Golinucci, Vitaioli; Bernardi.
POSSIBLE RESULT: 5-0
