Covid19. 44 classes are closed in the Toulouse Academy
This Friday, October 8, 44 courses are closed in the Toulouse Academy due to Covid-19. Here is the point on the situation of schools in detail.
Toulouse academy publishes its weekly update on the evolution of the circulation of Covid-19 in schools. It reports a situation which is improving compared to the previous week. No school closures have been recorded to date and the number of class closures is on the decline.
Number of confirmed Covid-19 cases decreases among students
The number of closed classes has therefore fallen in 7 days, from 79 to 44. In the Toulouse Academy, 14 of these class closures concern Haute-Garonne. There are 11 in Hautes-Pyrénées, 7 in Aveyron, 4 in Gers, 3 in Tarn-et-Garonne, 3 in Tarn, and 2 in Ariège.
Finally, the number of Covid-19 cases confirms the drop among some 534,000 students at the Academy. They are to date 131, against 248 last week. A decrease confirmed by saliva tests carried out in schools. To date, 6,906 have been completed. Same observation, on the staff side, since the number of positive cases goes from 14 confirmed cases to 9.
