Aid from Toulouse Métropole for repairing broken objects
As part of its Climat Air Énergie Territorial plan, Toulouse Métropole has set up financial aid for individuals to repair their broken items.
Toulouse Métropole has set up some for the inhabitants of the agglomeration who wish to repair their broken objects, rather than throwing them away. This aid is part of the Climate Air Energy Territorial plan and its “Circular Economy” roadmap adopted two years ago, which aims to avoid waste. They are insured for the repair of the following devices:
- Appliances: washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooking, refrigerator, freezer
- Telephony and digital: phone, smartphone, tablet, computer
- Audiovisual: television, hi-fi system, camera
- Tools: DIY, gardening
- Clocks: watch, clock
- Shoe repair
The premium is 30% of the amount of the repair, with a maximum set at 100 euros of aid per intervention by a professional.
How to benefit from it?
The beneficiaries must reside in one of the 32 municipalities of the Toulouse Métropole territory and have a reference income of less than 35,052 euros for the year (per person, not per household, editor’s note). The repair must imperatively be carried out by craftsmen registered in the “Repar’acteurs” network, deployed by ADEME and the Chamber of Trades and Crafts. The objective is to support local jobs.
To benefit from it, it suffices to formulate a request, after repair, on the site of Toulouse Métropole, in the “Individuals / Housing / Repair premium” section. The complete file must then be sent by email ([email protected]) or by post to the Environment and Energy Department “Prime Repair” at the following address: 6 rue René-Leduc, Toulouse.
After validation of the file, the aid is paid by bank transfer to the beneficiary. The instruction period is two months.
