The leadership of the St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU) released Associate Professor Yuri Guzov from his duties as First Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics. The reason was his statements. Information about this on Thursday, October 7, “Lente.ru” was confirmed in the reception of the dean of the Faculty of Economics.
The dismissal of Guzov the day before, on October 6, was announced by the vice-rector for the organization of work with personnel Vladimir Eremeev at website prepositional university.
The personnel changes were caused by screenshots of correspondence in the official system of the educational institution for distance learning. When a student asked about his practice, Guzov replied: “Normal people go to enumerators, poor people go to volunteers, saboteurs are waiting for expulsion.”
The receptionist of the dean of the Faculty of Economics of St. Petersburg State University could not clarify information about whether Guzov will remain to teach at the university. The post of the first deputy dean will be occupied by associate professor Viktor Titov.

Students who receive social benefits cannot be employed there, since they have to pay from payments. These students are advised to get employed as volunteers. It was them, according to Fontanka, that Guzov called “poor”.
Earlier, in terrorism, some media disseminated information that the St. Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions (SPbGUP) mistreated students. Allegedly, rector Alexander Zapesotsky “forcibly kept the students in the building,” and one of the students fainted after talking with him. The press service of the educational institution denied these data.
