The Agir à Lyon festival is back this Sunday
This Sunday, October 10, the Agir à Lyon festival is being held, organized by the Anciela association, in the “Maison pour tous, les Rancy” (3rd arrondissement). A key moment to discover the activist and associative life of Lyon. Small point on the program.
The Agir à Lyon festival is resuming its brands at the house for all Rancy (3e arr) this Sunday, October 10. Organized by the association Anciela, this event offers different ways of getting involved in the city. Objective: to try, on its own scale, to move towards a more ecological, social and united society through meetings of associations, conferences, etc.
On the program: a cycle of so-called “inspiring” conferences. At 11 am, the first will be devoted to “taking action” with the eyes of several members of associations.
It will also be a question of traveling differently (from 12:15 p.m.), of putting your money at the service of the ecological transition (1:30 p.m.), of being a green parent (2:45 p.m.), of fighting against isolation (4 p.m.) or to work for more food justice (5:15 p.m.).
Who is Anciela?
Anciela is a Lyon association which acts for an ecological and united society. It provides free support and guidance to all people who wish to get involved in these themes or lead ecological and solidarity initiatives. Anciela publishes the monthly Act in Lyon with whom Rue89Lyon had launched a partnership around the wine theme. This year, the team published several articles on our site dedicated to natural wine, especially here and here.
Acting in Lyon: a speed-dating to discover associations
At the same time, various activities are organized. Discovery walks on ecological initiatives in Lyon will take place from 12:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. as well as walks devoted to urban biodiversity. Many workshops are planned on the theme of compost, waste reduction, responsible clothing, etc.
Anciela is also renewing its “speed dating” associations. This allows you to meet, every quarter of an hour, a Lyon association committed to zero waste, solidarity, welcoming migrants, etc. small canteens, Gonette, FNE, LPO, Extinction Rebellion (XR) …
For more details on the program, meet here. The doors of the Rancy house will open at 10:30 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Free entry. A children’s area is provided in the culture room from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. Participants must have a health pass. Like last year, the organization recommends booking in advance.
