They activate their siren and their rotating beacon, forcing the driver and his passenger to stop on rue Saint-Sever. “The agents ask to cut off the ignition,” said a source. There, the vehicle sets off again at high speed in the direction of rue Clemenceau. “

The driver crosses a new red light and continue rue Saint-Sever. It turns against the direction of traffic, partly climbs the sidewalk and forces people to enter stores so as not to be hit.
The police stop the pursuit, seeing that the situation is becoming dangerous. They slow down and are guided in the track of the vehicle by onlookers. They arrive at Boulevard de l’Europe, then Rue de Lessard where they are blocked in traffic.
It is there that they see the Audi parked in a building courtyard. They also see the two occupants tend to hide behind trash cans. In the meantime, the car has been sent to the file. It is reported stolen.
The vehicle is picked up by a garage. The two young people, one of whom is well known to the police, are placed in police custody for refusing to comply with aggravated concealment of theft, lack of a driver’s license and multiple traffic offenses.
