Do you want to vote for the films of Turismo Centro de Portugal? Too easy! – News from Coimbra
The promotional films “In Centro de Portugal, A Vida é Agora”, by Turismo Centro de Portugal, are candidates for the best tourism films of the year, in an online poll that takes place worldwide.
The film series is nominated for the CIFFT festival’s “People’s Choice Awards”. This is an international competition that brings together the best films that participate in the world tour film festivals circuit. This year, there are 40 films in the vote for the title of Best Tourism Film in the World – among them, a series of films from the Center of Portugal.
The winner of the “People’s Choice Awards” is decided by online votes, in an open vote until 12:00 on the 25th of October. Winners will be announced at the end of the year at the CIFFT Grand Prix in Vienna.

The film series “In the Center of Portugal, A Vida é Agora” emerged as a response to the crisis caused by the covid-19 pandemic. Produced by Slideshow for Turismo Centro de Portugal, at the end of 2020, the films aim to position the region as a destination in line with new tourist trends. Each episode presented as an asset of the region in various products, such as active tourism, gastronomic and wine tourism, digital nomadism or cinematographic tourism, among others.
All original films with six people meeting via digital platform. At the end of the meeting, the protagonist closes the computer and we see him in several attractive places in the Center of Portugal, demonstrating that it is possible, at the same time, to work and enjoy life to the fullest in this region.

The Centro region presents another film among the 40 finalists in the competition. This is the film “De Corpo e Alma”, promoted by the Historical Villages of Portugal.
