The work of the community lasted almost a year B20, which represents over 6.5 million companies, reaches its climax with the B20 Final Summit, in schedule 7 And October 8 a Roma. It will be an opportunity to present the “Policy Papers” addressed to the G20 governments and deliver the G20 industry recommendations to the Prime Minister Mario Draghi, with the aim of supporting the Italian presidency in facing the challenges of ‘global agenda in view of the summit of heads of state and government of the G20 countries, scheduled for 30 and 31 October. The Policy Papers “contain 32 policy recommendations, 93 calls to action and 37 ‘kpi’ (performance indicators) to measure the implementation and impact of industry proposals”. These are the numbers of the work of the engagement group set up by the G20 and dedicated to companies and industrial confederations of the member countries, organized by Confindustria. And they will not be simple proposals from the economic community to governments: for the first time, every recommendation has been carried out in practice, with two immediate lines of action and measurable objectives between now and 2024.
