Donations can also be made by check.
The Demos project
This approach is part of the program of the “Démos” project (a device for musical and orchestral education with a social vocation) in Toulouse, which introduces children aged seven to twelve to musical practice in an orchestra for nearly three years. At each cycle, a different musical instrument is given to the child. He can take it home to work, or even keep it at the end of the training if he wishes to continue music. Three families of instruments are used: strings (violin, viola, cello), woodwind (flute, clarinet) and brass (trumpet, trombone, tuba).
The concert organized at the Philharmonie represents the end of these three years of learning. “It is a kind of” reward “and an unforgettable event for each young person”, add the associations.
