The railway development of the BMW plant in Debrecen is becoming more expensive
The first phase of the modernization of the Debrecen – Füzesabony railway line, which serves the service of the BMW plant, increased by HUF 10 billion to HUF 65 million and HUF 693 million. Napi.hu. The reason for the larger terminal terminal at Macs station was revealed by NIF Nemzeti Infrastruktúra Fejlesztő Zrt. in a public procurement notice published amendment.
For the first phase of the modernization of the railway line, NIF concluded a contract with V-Híd Építő Zrt. In several February, amounting to a net amount of HUF 54 million 859 million. The task requested was, inter alia:
- construction of a seamless track with prestressed reinforced concrete foundations 31.4 km long,
- Reconstruction of Debrecen station,
- Reconstruction of Tócóvölgy station,
- Rebuilding a Mac station, too
- Construction of Macs Industrial Park station.
The business paper recalls that in July, the first phase of the modernization of the railway line had already increased by HUF 560 million to HUF 55 million 419 million. The reason for the surplus at that time was that the plan of the Macs Industrial Park station had to be modified in connection with the operation of the BMW plant in Debrecen.
The current announcement increases the said increased price by 65 million to 693 million. The rationale is that the second phase of the container terminal at the Macs Industrial Park station should also be built based on a government decision.
