Prince Albert of Monaco ready to do battle … with the 2021 Sportel Awards champions!
While awaiting the imminent return of his wife Charlene, the prince albert continuation of official activities in principle. On October 5, 2021, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, the sovereign took part in the 32nd edition of Sportel Prize in his capacity as honorary president. A sporting evening for which he was surrounded by many athletes and his nephew Louis Ducruet (the son of Princess Stéphanie).
The Sportel Awards ceremony is an international competition rewarding the best television sports sequences of the past year. This 32nd edition was undoubtedly rich as the last few months have been marked by various sporting events! Prince Albert and his nephew thus took the pose in the company of the judoka Romane Dicko and his mates of tatami Madeleine Malonga, Guillaume Chaine, Sarah Leonie Cysique, Amandine Buchard and Margaux Pinot.
The French judo team which distinguished itself during the last Tokyo Games thus spent the evening in the company of boxers Brahim Asloum, Arsen Goulamirian, Rima Ayadi and Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam, sprinter Jean Baptiste Alaize but also the powerlifter Noémie Allabert. MMA champion Ciryl Gane was also there, not far from handball player Allison Pineau, freestyle and acrobatic skier Kevin Rolland, basketball player Émilie Gomis, or ex-runner and politician Guy Drut and the journalist Patrick Mahé.
