From the University of Pisa 300 thousand euros to attract students from the rest of Italy
One thousand euros of contribution for each student graduated from other Italian universities, based outside the Tuscany region, who intends to continue their academic career with a master’s degree from the University of Pisa. This was decided by the Tuscan university, allocating a fund of 300,000 euros to support female students and off-site students who decide to establish a structure under the Leaning Tower to support their training. A measure that according to the rector, Paolo Mancarella, wants to guarantee the students’ right to “cultivate their future”.

The words of the rector

The new tax regulation
Mancarella himself remembers «that this measure follows the approval of our new Student Fees Regulation with which, just to mention the main innovations, we have raised the no tax area up to 26,000 euro of ISEE; presented the total exemption for the so-called care leavers, i.e. young people who do not have a family they can rely on, in addition to having provided for forms of partial and total exemption for students with disabilities between 45% and 65% and a reduction of 200 euros for merit “.
