The non-profit association Forum Portugal Qatar is presented this Thursday in Lisbon, which aims to strengthen bilateral social, cultural and business relations between the two countries.
The association intends to initiate the promotion of bilateral cultural events, boost tourism between the two countries, share and integrate mutual knowledge in the field of health research, among other areas.
“Forum Portugal Qatar is a growing and socially active non-profit association that brings together a vast base of representation from different sectors of the economy, which, through regular meetings and networking events, intends to work in various areas”, says Nuno Anahory, Founder of Forum Portugal Qatar.
“There are so many areas in establishing win-win relations for both countries, from the Economy, Health, Tourism, Culture and, of course, Sport, as we are approaching with great strides the 2022 World Cup, which will take place without Qatar. As we all know, football has the ability to bring people together, so it can act as an aggregating element. We are at the right time to bet on two countries that have a lot to share”, concludes Nuno Anahory.
“Forum Portugal Qatar seeks new strategic partnerships and sustained growth in a network, based on knowledge of the respective markets”, they announce.
The Forum Portugal Qatar Association “intends to be a driving force behind concepts, business development and investment promotion. In July 2021, the first steps had already been taken when Qatar was assigned the category of Associate Observer of the CPLP”.
