A camp near Avenue d’Atlanta evacuated to Toulouse
The prefecture of Haute-Garonne tells us this October 6 that it evacuated the camps located Gramont path in Toulouse, very close to the Atlanta recycling center, to the northeast of the city.
Already on the SNCF network
This evacuation was carried out at the request of the owners of the illegally occupied land. Located along railway tracks borrowed, this slum very evoked a danger for their occupants, specifies the prefecture which also evokes the fire hazard linked to wild electrical installations in poor condition. Already last month, wild electrical connections to an electricity meter also supplying a GSM rail antenna, had caused failures on the rail network.
In total 49 people present. They were able to recover their personal effects and vehicles. Those who wished, were offered hotel accommodation. Three families accepted this proposition. A mobile team from 115 will meet them by the end of the week to assess their administrative situation and, if they meet the conditions, to be offered accommodation.
