You will receive half a billion additional funds in the Active Hungary program
Half a billion forints will provide the government with additional funds for the Active Hungary program, the operative staff responsible for the resumption of community life announced at a press conference in Budapest after the closing meeting on Tuesday.
Government Commissioner for Active Hungary, Máriusz Révész, said that the funds support programs that contribute to keeping children in the community, in nature and moving around.
It is planned that by the end of the year, a few fifty thousand children will be provided with free, one-day, active class trips that both teachers and children need to move around, he added, adding that they also want to organize multi-day school trips for schools in the spring. Described by:
15,000 children took part in the migratory camp program for years, but next year they want to camp 20-22 thousand children.
Among the planned programs, he mentioned that they want to start water tour festivals on the model of street running festivals, and in eight places Balaton crossings have been organized in the country. The source will also support additional family weekends, adventure tours and the Music in the Forest series of events, he added.
Máriusz Révész also reported that those settlements that have not been operating on ice rinks in recent years will apply for the artificial ice rink program by Friday and undertake to build a 15-by-30-meter by 20 December and operate it by the end of February.
With the program, 10-20 ice rinks can be built
he added.
Responding to a question from the government commissioner, he said the programs are mostly done in the open air, so he is confident that they won’t have to be postponed because of the coronavirus epidemic.
Katalin Novák, Minister without Portfolio for Families, described the operative staff meeting: the number of adoption workers will be increased by 56, so the number of adoption counselors will increase by 39 and the number of psychologists performing adoption tasks will increase by 17.
This is necessary because of the disproportionate workload on workers, he added, emphasizing that the aim is to find adoptive parents sooner for children awaiting adoption.
He also reported that under the age of 14, he must declare grace periods on January 1 to be in connection with the document reading system, so they will not have to present their ID at the accommodation until then. This is necessary because there are those under the age of 14 who do not yet have an ID card, he added.
The minister also said that the operational tribunal responsible for restarting community life had finished its work because community life had restarted, all that was needed was to ensure operation, which was the responsibility of the government.
The operational tribunal will begin its work on June 15, meeting a total of 13 times, discussing more than eighty proposals,
and more than thirty decisions have been announced on subsidies and investments worth more than 100 percent, he said.
Katalin Novák answers the question: in the next period she will deal with, among other things, the review of the adoption system, decisions supporting families and international tasks.
He responded to a question about Fidesz’s renewal meeting by not running for Congress again as a vice-presidential candidate.
It answers questions about adoption:
they are primarily looking for a married couple as parents for the children, but if they can’t find it, the singles are open to the opportunity and want to make adoption easier for them.
In response to questions related to the fourth wave of the epidemic, he draws attention to the fact that vaccination can still be the most effective defense against the epidemic, so keep on campaigning about it and still not looking for the elderly.
In healthcare, the vaccination rate is 98 percent, meaning the vast majority of workers are vaccinated. For those who have been vaccinated, the third vaccination is optional. He added that he had also given himself the third vaccine.
Regarding the recovery fund, he said he was confident an agreement would be reached soon. It will not be up to the government what questions the European Commission has, they will answer, – stated Katalin Novák.
