Why Man United’s Victor Lindelof has not joined Sweden’s squad yet
Manchester United has on Tuesday night given an official explanation as to why Victor Lindelof has not yet connected to Sweden for the ongoing round of international matches.
Sweden’s international break
Sweden will play two World Cup qualifiers during the break in October.
The first of these takes place on Saturday the 9thth October against Kosovo, with the second Tuesday on 12th October against Greece.
With the first clash less than a week left, Victor Lindelof may not yet have connected to the squad has seemed quite odd to some.
It may also have led to concerns that Lindelof has been injured. This would of course be a big blow for Manchester United, who have already had to be without Harry Maguire for their last two matches due to injury, with the defender also not part of England’s squad for their games this month:

Why Lindelof has not joined Sweden yet
As mentioned above, however, Manchester United has given an official explanation for Lindelof not yet joining Sweden.
And thankfully for United, it is not injury-related, but Man United confirms instead that:
Victor Lindelof has been called by Sweden to their World Cup qualifiers with Kosovo and Greece, but the defender has not yet joined the national team due to personal circumstances.
The same update also confirmed that Marcus Rashford is in full training after shoulder surgery.
