“We wish the re-elected Mayor Mauro Giannini a good job and we are preparing to give our contribution for a Pennabilli open to the future and to young people”
The enthusiasm and the will to commit oneself to the common good remain strong, so the “Orizzonte Comune” list, which presents Cristina Ferri as a candidate for Mayor, is already thinking about how to work for the future of her country. In addition to Ferri, three young people have entered the City Council: the 25-year-old candidate for deputy mayor Luca Sartini, Francesca Arcangeli, 36, and Alessio Zanchini, 29. This positive figure reflects the growing desire for participation and involvement of today’s citizens who will return to “Vivere Pennabilli” – as the motto of the list said – and not just “Survive”. If the majority voted for Giannini, confirming their trust in the mayor based on their experience, the birth of this list has given voice and enthusiasm to all that part of citizens – especially young people – who want to be involved and take back the reins of the own territory by committing itself to guarantee a prosperous future in Pennabilli: a country where to live well and work, an open and driving community. The skills acquired and studying in the city or even abroad, return to govern evolution and study alternative and collaborative development systems that look to the future. “First of all I would like to do mine and wish Mauro Giannini good work” begins Ferri who continues “In more than a month we have been able to build an alternative, to compose a team of 5 women and 5 men, of which 6 candidates under 40, and 7 completely “new” candidates to politics who immediately chose to work together with those who believe in a country made up of people who work together for the good of the territory and the community, having a vision, a COMMON HORIZON and creating a climate of positivity and optimism. Our main objective has been achieved, to create a group mainly composed of young people with a common vision for the future of Pennabilli. Even from the opposition we will be able to dare our contribution. My congratulations to Luca, Francesca and Alessio, elected councilors, and thanks to all the other members of the team Angela, Andrea, Antonio, Barbara, Giancarlo and Lucia and to the supporters for their work, their concrete support and their profuse enthusiasm, to our constituents to whom we will give a voice with an opposition that will carry out our ideals. ” Luca Sartini adds: “It was definitely not the result that all of us top. However, the Common Horizon is a solid group that does not stop at the figures, the goal is to give continuity to the great work that has been done in terms of bringing young people closer to public affairs. Ours will be, right from the start, a punctual, rigorous, proactive and extremely careful opposition, an opposition that believes in its own ideas and in the future young and ambitious for the Municipality of Pennabilli. We need a propulsive vision and our every action will move from this. “
