Toulouse. The TAF Fair opens its doors with nearly 650 vacancies
The Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region is organizing the TAF (Travail-Avenir-Formation) fair in Toulouse, in partnership with Toulouse Métropole, Pôle Emploi and the Regional Association of Local Missions.
Two days devoted to employment, training and vocational guidance with a focus on sectors that recruit close to home. After several reports related to national measures to fight the Covid-19 epidemic, the TAF exhibition in Toulouse will take place on October 6 and 7 for its 4th edition.
This year, the TAF exhibition in Toulouse brings together more than 180 training and guidance organizations, and nearly 300 companies offering nearly 650 job offers in all sectors.
Within the show, 7 spaces will be dedicated to sectors with high recruitment potential: agriculture and agrifood, construction and public works, hotels and restaurants, industry and aeronautics, digital, transport and logistics, health and social.
Demonstrations of trades, testimonials from companies and activities offered by professionals (virtual reality headsets, business simulators) allow visitors to concretely discover the trades and training in these sectors.
Several workshops and conferences will also be on the program on the themes of training, job search or even business creation (“Dare to resume training in higher education without the baccalaureate”, “Enhance your professional image”, “Becoming a business leader”, etc.) and around the professions of the future (“The professions of the future in transport”, From drones to quotes, take height “,” Ecological impact of digital technology: guide to survival in a connected environment ”,…).

“In the still very fragile economic and social context that we are going through, the Region and its partners are taking action so that no one is left by the wayside and that nearby solutions can be found for everyone and everywhere. With the TAFs, we are getting as close as possible to young people, job seekers, retraining people, in all territories, to meet their needs with concrete training and employment opportunities. For our companies, it is an effective way to find the skills they need to develop or relaunch their activity. », Says Carole Delga, president of the Occitanie Region.
“From the first hours of the health crisis, Toulouse Métropole mobilized to support all economic players and protect the inhabitants of our territory.
As we glimpse the way out of this crisis, we must support these vital forces so that they can fully rebound which is just beginning. By uniting our skills with the Region, Pôle Emploi and local Missions, we offer the best support in favor of local employment, and will be able to remain the territory which recruits the most after Paris! I therefore invite all those looking for a job to come and meet us at this fair to discover our many opportunities. », Declares Jean-Luc Moudenc, Mayor of Toulouse, President of Toulouse Métropole.
Marie Castro, vice-president of the Occitanie Region in charge of vocational training, representing the president of the Region Carole Delga, will inaugurate the TAF fair in Toulouse on Wednesday October 6 at 10 a.m., alongside Isabelle Ferrer, deputy mayor of Toulouse in charge of Employment, representing Jean-Luc Moudenc, Thierry Lemerle, regional director Pôle Emploi Occitanie, and Jean-Raymond Lépinay, vice-president of the Regional Association of Local Missions (ARML) Occitanie.
