A man was arrested on Monday in Toulouse by the police from the anti-crime squad. Aged 27, he is suspected of having committed several thefts in restaurants and bars in the very center of Toulouse. The estimated damage amounts to around 4,000 euros.
He waited patiently for the restaurant or bar to empty before stealing the cash register. A few days ago, a man with suspicious behavior was spotted by the police from the Toulouse anti-crime brigade (Bac). For several days, investigations are triggered. The investigators of the unit of attacks on the property of the right bank of the departmental security will go up on several cases in which this man is suspected. Between September 19 and 27, this young man, aged 27, is suspected of having broken six restaurants or drinking establishments located in downtown Toulouse.
Each time, this individual waits for the establishment to empty and then breaks the door or the air conditioning unit to get inside. Once in the premises, he broke the cash registers to steal the contents. He also stole a computer and a mixer from one of the establishments.
The total damage is estimated at around 4,000 euros. He was arrested this Monday, October 4 in Toulouse and placed in police custody. During his hearing, this man admitted to the facts. He was referred this Tuesday morning to the Toulouse judicial court. He must be judged this Tuesday under the regime of immediate comparison.
