“This excellent, modern and unique building is a very inspiring environment for us, and we, the teachers, know very well the educational power of the demanding environment,” Ágnes Pakurár emphasized.
Professional recognition is given to architecturally and technically outstanding buildings. This is not the first level award of 30-year-old HUNÉP Zrt. It was also said at the ceremony that the special feature of the 7,000-square-foot building is the floor plan layout adjacent.
– There are no parallels and perpendiculars, but arcs and polygons in which no work is required. What makes it special is a part of it, and the use of quality materials that we don’t work or can work with every day. It qualifies as a result and a value, and so it is possible to build a beautiful building, if the use of materials is also at the level of planning – said Miklós Bakos, CEO of HUNÉP Zrt.
László Papp spoke about the fact that it was a good decision to build the International School in terms of the development of Debrecen. The mayor’s comment: in addition to all the need for innovation and development, the building also has functionality and beauty.
– I believe that it will be of particular importance for the future of the city. I can confirm that there is almost no business or investment negotiations for the city, where the International School is more important, it does not exist, and there would be no red dot next to the name of the city – emphasized László Papp.
The institution currently has 160 students from 23 nations.
