Narcos Star Spotted In Malta Filmed A New ‘Financial Thriller’ TV Series
An actor from the award-winning Narcos series was seen cool on a secluded beach in Malta.
Matias Varela put himself vibrating without a shirt other than a boat near a picturesque Maltese entrance in Comino, along with a quip about cropping the photo to better show off his abs.
“A photo by @juliaragnarok, cut from me to get closer to the abs. No filter, ”Varela posted on his Instagram stories.
Varela starred as Jorge Salcedo Cabrera, the head of security for the Cali Cartel, in the third season of Netflix’s Narcos series.
His performance was widely chosen by both critics and fans as one of the best in the series – and in 2020, he returned to the role in the second season of Narcos: the -Mexico.
Varela, who is Swedish, is currently starring in HBO Max’s Raised By Wolves stars, filmed by Ridley Scott and Scott Free Productions in South Africa, where he stars alongside Viking’s Travis Fimmel.
In addition to Narcos, Varela is known for his work in Sweden on projects such as 477 Dagen as well as his performance in the American film Heavy alongside Sophie Turner of Game of Thrones.
He is currently in Malta filming on the spot as part of season 2 of the Swedish financial thriller series Fartblinda (Blinded), he even uploaded a new geotagged photo in St. Julian’s today.
