Toulouse: 6 police officers injured in a hot pursuit
On the night of Friday October 1 to Saturday October 2, around 2.15 am, a man driving a Renault Clio took all the risks to flee the men of the Anti-Crime Brigade (BAC) in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) , blessing six police officers during the chase.
Followed by the BAC very early this Saturday towards the Faubourg Bonnefoy, the driver fled, not hesitating to collide with the vehicles of the anti-crime section. The fugitive struck two cars, one of which rolled over, blessing six police officers.
Supported by firefighters and then admitted to hospital in the wake, the 6 officials finally came out on Sunday morning, without serious injury.
Apprehended by the police a few hours later, the two occupants of the fleeing vehicle are currently being interviewed by investigators. According to La Dépêche, they were driving under the influence of narcotics, which would have motivated the extreme risk-taking during this escape.
The Alliance Police Nationale 31 union made a request, relayed by the regional daily, for “judicial qualifications and heavy penalties commensurate with the facts for individuals who are ready to kill police officers so as not to be arrested”.
