The Directorate-General for Health (DGS) registered 1 071 307 infections by covid-19, which are associated with 18 thousand deaths, since the beginning of the pandemic in Portugal, with 193 cases and seven deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
Most new infections were registered in the North region (plus 53). This is followed by Lisbon and Vale do Tejo (51 more), Alentejo (38), Centro (29), Algarve (11), Madeira (eight) and Azores (three).
