Undertaken this summer by the main government, the vast project to replace 65 mechanical links (public elevators and escalators) is continuing in the Principality.

From next October 11 until December 3, one of the most frequented public elevators in the Principality will be shut down, while “modernizing” and the “make reliable”. This is the link between Boulevard du Jardin Exotique and Avenue Hector-Otto.

In order to allow users to transit between the boulevard between two points during the nearly two months of work, a shuttle will ensure the connection between the following temporary stops:

– Boulevard du Jardin Exotique, in front of the “Les Révoires” building,
– Avenue Hector-Otto, in front of the “Révoires” school,
– Boulevard du Jardin Exotique, in front of the entrance to the Princess-Antoinette Park.

The shuttle will run from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm and on weekends and holidays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm The turnaround time is estimated at 10 minutes.

As of this year, the Monegasque State plans to replace six escalators, transform two escalators into an elevator with a glass pylon, and replace nine public elevators.
