Only Spandau reports new corona cases in Berlin – incidence just over 75 – BZ Berlin
The seven-day incidence in Berlin has fallen minimally. According to the Senate’s management report on Monday, 75.2 out of 100,000 people became infected with the virus in the past seven days. The previous day the value was 75.3 – but only one district reported numbers at all.
According to the Senate’s management report, 24 new corona infections were registered in Berlin on Monday. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 207,147 cases of corona infections have been reported.
There was no new related death. The total number of deaths is still 3628.
The status of the vaccinations in Berlin
► No change compared to Sunday, the day of German unity: 64.3 percent of Berliners are fully vaccinated. 67.5 percent are vaccinated once. The total number of vaccinations in Berlin is 4,723,993.
The situation in the districts
► Only one district is above the 100 incidence mark: Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg (108.2). This is followed by Spandau (92.3), Neukölln (91.7) and Mitte (90.2). Steglitz-Zehlendorf has the lowest incidence with 48.3. The other districts are between the 50 and 100 mark.
► New corona cases were only reported from Spandau on Monday: 24.

Important: In order to include a more meaningful indicator in the corona traffic light, the relative change in the 7-day incidence was replaced by the hospitalization incidence. The 7-day incidence and the occupancy rate of the intensive care beds remain unchanged.

The limit value for a yellow traffic light is 35, at 100 or more the traffic light jumps to red.

This indicator shows how many people per 100,000 population were hospitalized after a corona infection within one week. The indicator is green when the value is below 4. From 4 the traffic light switches to yellow, at 8 to red.
► Die Utilization of intensive care beds due to corona patients is 9.3 percent (previous day: 9.3 percent) – the traffic light is on YELLOW.
The limit value for yellow is 5 percent, at 15 percent this traffic light also jumps to red.
