Bad weather, A26 motorway also closed towards Genoa
Between the Predosa Bettole and Masone branch
Genoa, 4 Oct. (askanews) – The A26 Genoa Voltri-Gravellona Toce motorway was closed towards Genoa between the junction for the Predosa Bettole and Masone branch, due to the landslide that occurred near the Broglio tunnel which had already made it necessary to close the section included between the junction with the A10 Genova-Savona and Ovada, towards Gravellona Toce.
“Therefore – explains Autostrade per l’Italia in a note – users coming from Genoa / Livorno to Milan are advised to take the A7 Serravalle-Genoa motorway. Those arriving from Savona and heading to Milan and Turin, on the other hand, are advised to take the A6 Turin-Savona motorway. For those coming from Milan and heading to Savona-Genoa, it is advisable to take the A21 Turin-Piacenza and the A6 Turin-Savona or alternatively the A7 Serravalle-Genoa “.
Also due to the heavy rainfall that is hitting the area, the Turchino state road 456 was closed as a precaution. The traffic police and Autostrade per l’Italia staff are present on site.
