Atlantic week, a disturbed front is coming between Wednesday and Thursday
This week we will see the debacle of the Mediterranean Anti-cyclone, and the first areas to suffer from it will be the northern (especially northwestern) and Tyrrhenian regions. Already in these hours the first intense rains of an alluvial nature are reported in Liguria with serious hydrogeological problems, the weather alert in these areas is very high.
The depression nucleus is forming between the Ligurian Sea and Corsica and will be stationed here at least until the first part of Wednesday, thus involving with intense rain especially the Tyrrhenian and northern side of Italy, San Marino in this first phase will be mainly affected by cloud cover. and showers between sunny moments.
In the course of the day of Wednesday 6 October the depression nucleus will move towards the middle Tyrrhenian Sea, therefore an extension of the rains is expected also towards San Marino. Until Wednesday, the temperature will be relatively mild, thanks to the southwestern winds that precede the Atlantic disturbance.
From early Thursday morning the wind will rotate, and strong northeastern winds will drop the temperature by 5 ° C. The rains will become more intense from midnight on Wednesday to the early hours of the morning. It is still unclear whether the worsening will flow southwards on Thursday morning or whether it will persist for most of the day on San Marino as well.
After a brief improvement, a new disturbed Atlantic impulse is expected between Friday and Saturday 9 October.
