Airbnb launches tool to support Amsterdam with registration
Airbnb launches the Airbnb City Portal for Amsterdam, a tool that the municipality must make to make the registration requirement for holiday rentals.
The City Portal was planned by the American company as projects for local projects. The portal makes the start to start and report advertisements with a possible registration number of an invalid exemption on the platform.
In the Netherlands, Airbnb will also launch an online city portal in Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht in 2022.
Airbnb had already committed to release. For example, hotels and service apartments, which can also be booked via the Airbnb platform, do not have to request a registration number because they already comply with other regulations.
The majority of hosts on Airbnb in Amsterdam are ordinary people who share their home, follow the rules and share their home about 15 nights a year. The majority of active hosts are already registered with the municipality. Hosts that are removed have little or no activity on Airbnb.
