Moldova is present at the world event in the capital of the United Arab Emirates to “demonstrate the country’s history, rich heritage and creative potential to its people,” said Victor Haruta, Moldova’s ambassador to the UAE, in an interview with WAM. Speaking about the decisive principles for presenting Moldova at Expo 2020 Dubai, the ambassador placed them on three basic topics: Discover Moldova, Taste Moldova and Invest in Moldova – “a country with a mild fiscal climate, stable economic growth, balanced costs and an excellent location in central Europe ”.
“The whole fable and theme of our pavilion focuses on the symbol that does not characterize – the old tree. Any seed placed in the fertile soil of my country resulted in a miracle. Any branch of our tree offers a possibility of growth and has a special importance, talking about the experience and strategic branches of the Moldovan economy “, said Hăruță.
The virtual journey on the Mioritic plateau begins in the “Discover Moldova” section, where visitors enjoy the picturesque landscapes of this green country, admire the national brilliance and musical instruments and get acquainted with the description of traditional Moldovan dishes and culinary delights. The area of crafts and dedicated to the equipment used in the past, but also to the modern textile industry of the country. Here visitors will be able to have master-class sessions on various crafts. In the area dedicated to investigations, interested persons will be able to discuss with the team of the Investigation Agency of the Republic of Moldova.
“We aim to give visitors the impression that the Republic of Moldova is a country that subscribes to the concept of stable development by preserving nature and energy, using alternative resources and ecological production,” says Haruta.
