A week ago, the BAG had counted 3,069 new cases over the weekend. For every 100,000 inhabitants, 196.66 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus infections were reported in the last two weeks. The reproduction number R, which indicates the average number of people infected by an infected person, was 0.76 around two weeks ago.
The occupancy rate of the intensive care units in the hospitals is currently 73.2 percent. 19.4 percent of the available beds are occupied by Covid-19 patients and patients.
Vaccination rate 17 percent
A total of 10’071’500 vaccine doses had been delivered to the cantons and Liechtenstein by Sunday evening. 32,957 people who have so far been treated in hospital for a Covid 19 disease. The number of cases in connection with a Covid 19 disease is believed to be 10,721.
Due to the contact tracing based on the information provided by the BAG, 10,550 people in isolation and 8,619 people in quarantine. None of those who returned from risk countries were in quarantine.
