The Poles started the youth World Cup with a 3-1 victory against Kuba. The qualifying winners as planned were winning Bahrain 3-0 to win Bulgaria 3-1 and you win your place in Play-In Group B. As part of this initiative, the Polish team managed to achieve Brazil 3: 1 and Bulgaria 3: 2 again. At the end of the group struggle to defeat Russia 1: 3.

Our players took second place in group F, which meant a clash with Italy in the semi-finals. Unfortunately, despite leading 2-0 in sets, the volleyball adage proved to be true – who does not win 3-0, ten … loses 2: 3. In the second second line, Italia was equal and deservedly better.

In the match for the place, Poland will play against Argentina, which lost to Russia 0: 3 in the semi-finals. The game was very even as the first two sets ended in an advantage game. Let’s hope that the Polish team will be able to defeat Albicelesta and come back home with the bronze medals of the world championship.
