PSP arrests man for aggravated robbery in Cais do Sodré, Lisbon
Nat dawn on September 24, the Criminal Investigation Division of the PSP in Lisbon detained a 20-year-old man, suspected of an aggravated robbery crime committed in Cais do Sodré.
In a statement, the PSP explains that when the agents were informed of the robbery perpetrated by six people, “with physical offenses”, they quickly tried to intercept and detain the perpetrators of the crime.
In possession of a very detailed description of one of the suspects, with a very relevant role in the crime, the police managed to intercept him and recovered most of the stolen objects, including his cell phone and lighter.
The PSP also seized the clothes used in the commission of these crimes from the detainee, namely a mountain pass and some gloves.
The suspect is under the suspension of the sentence of five years in prison for the commission of ten crimes of the same nature.
Present at the first judicial interrogation, he was given the most severe coercion measure, preventive detention.
