Monaco connects and sinks Bordeaux, Angers and Nantes relaunch
Monaco sinks Bordeaux
AS Monaco has easily Bordeaux at home to chain a third consecutive victory in Ligue 1.
Tchouaméni opened the scoring for the Monegasques (35 ‘). The player trained in Bordeaux to take a free kick hit by Golovin to put the ASM into orbit.
Kovac’s men made the break after returning from the locker room thanks to Golovin (53 ‘).
Wissam Ben Yedder confirmed his return to form by signing the third but Monegasque (64 ‘) after a penalty obtained by Diop, who came into play a few minutes earlier.
In the standings, Monaco moved up to sixth place with 14 points.
Nantes resumes its march
FC Nantes returned to victory on Sunday at La Beaujoire against Troyes (2-0).
After having come to a halt on the last day in Reims, the FCN resumed its momentum which had seen two successes against Angers and Brest.
Serious and efficient, the Canaries waited until the second half to make the difference with a victorious uncrossed header from Girotto on a corner from Cyprien (58 ‘).
It is then Blas who scores the second goal by obtaining a penalty which he himself transformed (69 ‘). Faced with a Loire tribune back in the stadium, the Nantes people were able to produce this success which allows them to move up to eighth place in the standings.
Lorient and Clermont neutralize each other
Lorient and Clermont failed to part on Sunday afternoon at Le Moustoir (1-1).
The Clermontois opened the scoring through their scorer Bayo (15 ‘).
The Merlus returned to the game thanks to a header from Laporte behind the defense after a clever cross from Monconduit (54 ‘).
A draw that does the business of both teams before the international break. Lorient remains at the top of the classification in seventh position while Clermont limits the breakage on the outside and remains 15th.
Bahoken delivers Angers
Angers ended a series of four games without a win at home against Metz (3-2).
In a very open match, it was the Messins who struck the first thanks to Dylan Bronn (10 ‘).
Long lacking offensive inspiration, the Angevins relied on the talent of Jimmy Cabot who after escaping on the right side ideally served the young Cho who equalized closely (53 ‘).
Well back, the SCO has complicated the task after a huge blunder by Paul Bernardoni who was completely hole on a revival and an involuntarily served Boulaya in front of the empty corn (59 ‘).
Only a few minutes later, Mangani allowed the SCO to equalize, again thanks to Cabot double passer today (66 ‘).
As we were heading for a draw, Angers crucified the Messins on the last free kick of the game.
Pushed back by the wall, Mangani recovered the leather to center at the far post on Capelle, whose header found Bahoken alone in front of goal (90 + 3).
Angers goes back to fourth place in the standings and breathes before the truce while Metz, as against PSG was trapped in the last second.
