In 2020, the autumn conscription for military service affected 128 thousand people. It took place from October 1 to December 31.

In August, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Russian Armed Forces had completed vaccination against coronavirus. He specified that a total of 1 million 400 thousand people were vaccinated among the military.
