Opponents of the corona measures will demonstrate in the center of Amsterdam. The activists gather at the Dam at noon, later they go on a walking tour through the center.
The demonstrations run a route of about 5 kilometers, via the Rozengracht, the Marnixstraat and the Haarlemmer Houttuinen. More than seventy organizations are participating in the demonstration, according to initiator Michel Reijinga. He has already said several protests against the corona measures under the heading ‘drinking coffee’.
“We are fighting for new, good, fair politics, especially the latter seems to be the most difficult. Entering the medical passport and the associated QR code are the icing on the cake of the already scandalous disproportionate corona policy. This has to stop!” said Reijinga.
At the beginning of September, there was also a corona protest in Amsterdam, in which thousands of demonstrators took part. At the time, the organization did not agree with the estimate of the number of participants from the police and the municipality. This time, the organization deploys a helicopter, and a special agency will count the number of demonstrators.
