In Zurich, several passers-by were attacked by a group of perpetrators on Saturday morning (02.10.21), two men sustained head injuries.
On Saturday, October 2, 2021, two passers-by were attacked and injured in Niederdorf. One man was arrested. The police are looking for witnesses.
Early on Saturday morning, around 2.30 a.m., there was a dispute between two groups of people in the Predigerplatz area. A 25-year-old was injured in the head.
Only a few minutes later, the group of perpetrators attacked other passers-by on Niederdorfstrasse, near Mühlegasse. A 23-year-old man was also injured in the head.
In the search that was initiated immediately afterwards, the alleged main culprit, a 20-year-old Swiss, could be arrested. The search for the accomplices continues.
Both of the injured are temporarily hospitalized for treatment. The arrested person was taken to the public prosecutor’s office after being questioned by the police.
