Almost all posture disorders in adults are treatable. This opinion is shared by the osteopathic physician, neurologist Alexander Evdokimov. On simple ways to get rid of scoliosis, he told in an interview with NEWS.ru.
According to the specialist, it is necessary to pay attention to the prevention of diseases associated with postural disorders. Even if there are already deviations in the structure of the spine, they can be eliminated if there have not been sufficiently gross changes. The most affordable way is to actively move.
“To sit as long as possible, you need to move all parts of the spine and body that did not move as much as possible. These are the thoracic, lumbar and cervical regions. Do elementary gymnastics, at least 15 minutes a day. – said the Russian doctor.
To prevent scoliosis, according to a neurologist, you can work out in the gym, but ordinary warm-up exercises are also suitable, during which all flexion and extensor muscle groups are involved. In particular, you can make light rotational movements of the head, bending and lifting the knees, which will help relieve pain and tension.
“By carrying out basic movements, you are, in fact, prevention of all types of congestion and destruction of the spine,” concluded Evdokimov.
