Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned today (October 1) from Washington via DC to Helsinki and is finalizing her visit to the United States to attend the 76th UN General Assembly (UNGA) and other high-level side events.

“Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ VVIP charter flight, which carried the Prime Minister and his companions, arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport via the Finnish capital in Helsinki at 11:15 pm,” said Prime Minister Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim.

After a short stopover in Helsinki, the flight departed from Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport at 10.55 (local time) to Dhaka.

Md Nazmul Islam, the Finnish Ambassador to Bangladesh, saw the Prime Minister at the airport.

The flight arrived at Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport at 9.00 on 1 October (local time), where Md Nazmul Islam, the Finnish Ambassador to Bangladesh in Finland (living abroad), received the Prime Minister.

Earlier, the flight departed from Dallas International Airport in Washington DC to Helsinki on Thursday at 5:27 p.m. (Washington DC time).

US Ambassador to Bangladesh M Shahidul Islam saw the Prime Minister at the airport.

The Prime Minister arrived in New York to attend the 76th UN General Assembly on 19 September after a two-day break in Helsinki.

In New York 19. -24. During his stay in September, he attended the UN General Assembly at UN headquarters and some high-voltage side events.

The Prime Minister later left New York for Washington DC on September 25 after completing a week-long official visit to New York.

Sheikh Hasina spoke in New York while in the general debate of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

He delivered his speech in Bangla on September 24, following in the footsteps of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the nation’s father.

Sheikh Hasina attended the 19th-24th. September to a series of high-level, closed-door meetings and bilateral discussions with Heads of Government, Länder and organizations.

He planted a trout and inaugurated a bench in the UN Gardens on the North Lawn at UN Headquarters in honor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the nation’s father, on September 20 in honor of his birthday._BSS
