Pre-alert on Genoa and the east on Monday 4 October 2021
After two days of good weather, October opens with showers and heavy thunderstorms. Arpal, today, Saturday 2 October, has issued a surveillance bulletin, which becomes a weather warning in the presence of intense phenomena, from the early hours of this night with local downpours or thunderstorms, more insistent on the center of the region.
Then the situation is destined to worsen, with a trend whose effects on the ground will also be evaluated through the high-resolution models, which will not yet be seen on Monday.

However, just for Monday 4, an early warning on B and C was indicated.
The forecasts for tomorrow, Sunday 3 October
From the first hours of the night, local rainfalls are expected, also of a downpour or thunderstorm, more insistent on the center of the region: on B significant cumulative areas, punctual up to high. Low probability of strong phenomena (possible localized flooding due to rainwater disposal systems or small channels / canals. Punctual damage due to isolated gusts of wind or tornadoes, hail and lightning, small landslides). Moderate south, south-easterly winds with local gusts around 40-50 km / h.
The forecast for Monday 4 October
Decisive worsening over the whole region with widespread rainfall of moderate to strong intensity which will give rise to high cumulative areal. Progressive increase in instability with low probability of showers or heavy thunderstorms at night, high probability from the morning and especially in the afternoon. Southern winds up to strong with gusts around 60-80 km / h; probable entry of northerly winds in the evening. Very rough sea, up to rough in the evening on C and western part of B.

- B: Along the coast from Spotorno to Camogli including, Val Polcevera and Alta Val Bisagno

- D: Valle Stura and the Savona hinterland up to Val Bormida
- E: Valle Scrivia, Val d’Aveto and Val Trebbia
