Oil production in Russia increased by 7.5% in September – Economy and business
MOSCOW, October 2. / TASS /. Oil and gas condensate production in Russia in September 2021 increased by 7.5% compared to the same period last year, to 43,859 million tons. This follows from the data of the Central Dispatching Office of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK).
At the same time, since the beginning of the year, oil production has grown by 0.1%, to 387.3 million tons.
According to international financial statements, Rosneft increased oil production in September by 8.1% to 16.5 million tons, and since the beginning of the year the figure has remained at the same level – 143.9 million tons. Production of Lukoil in September increased by 9.9%, to 6.38 million tons, since the beginning of the year has grown by 0.2%, to 55.9 million tons. Surgutneftegaz in September increased production by 8.3%, to 4.64 million tons, since the beginning of the year – decreased by 2.1%, to 40.76 million tons. In September, Gazprom Neft produced 4.63 million tons, which is 3.4% higher than in 2020; since the beginning of the year, the company’s production amounted to 42 million tons, which is 2.2% less on an annualized basis.
Production of Tatneft in September increased by 12.2%, to 2.36 million tons, since the beginning of the year – by 5.3%, to 20.6 million tons. Novatek produced 0.95 million tons of oil (-6.4%), from the beginning of the year increased by 2.5% to 8.927 million tons. Oil and condensate production operations by 7.3%, to 1.1 million tons, since the beginning of the year, this figure has decreased by 6.7%, to 9.85 million tons.
Oil export
Russian oil exports in September 2021 fell by 5.6% compared to the same period last year, to 166.2 million tons.
Russia participates in the OPEC + agreement on the reduction of oil production. … Therefore, in September 2021, Russian oil exports increased by 4.1% to 18.6 million tons.
Oil exports to non-CIS countries for nine months decreased by 6% – to 157.5 million tons, and in September supplies increased by 8.5%, to 17.8 million tons. The export of Russian oil to the near abroad since the beginning of the year has grown by 0.8% – up to 8.7 million tons. In September, this figure amounted to 0.804 million tons (-44.9%).
Oil transit in January-September fell by 10.3% to 13.2 million tons. In September, the figure fell by 25.4% to 1.224 million tons.
In September 2021, 211.97 million tons of oil were supplied to the domestic market, which is 2.3% more than a year earlier. In September, 23.5 million tons of oil were supplied to the domestic market (an increase of 6%).
Coal mining
Coal production in Russia in September increased by 8.7% compared to the same period last year, to 319.07 million tons.
In September 2021, coal production increased by 7.8% year-on-year and reached 36,077 million tonnes.
Supplies to the domestic market, including for the companies’ own needs, in September increased by 7.7% compared to the same period last year, to 283.6 million tons. Coal exports for the same period increased by 8% to 161.4 million tons.
Supplies of Russian coal to the domestic market, including for the companies’ own needs, in September decreased by 1.1% year-on-year, to 31.6 million tons. Coal exports in the same month decreased by 1.5% to 17,887 million tons.
Production of the system of coal companies in September – September: SUEK – 76.8 million tons of coal (+ 1.9%), Management Company Kuzbassrazrezugol (part of UMMC) – 28.254 million tons (-3.8%), HC “SDS” coal “- 14.4 million tons (-2.8%),” Vostsibugol “- 9.697 million tons (-1.2%), MC” Yuzhny Kuzbass “(part of Mechel) – 5.1 million tons (-39.4%), Yakutugol holding company (part of Mechel) – 3.4 million tons (-27.5%).
