Debrecen – At the Kölcsey Center we can travel back almost a hundred years: old songs are hidden in a new robe at the autumn album presentation concert.

A special cavalcade of programs awaits the people of Debrecen who want to have fun in October as well: in the autumn months, the cultivation of literature, music, fine arts and folk traditions also plays an important role in the city.

The Debrecen Autumn Festival on Sunday, October 24, from 7 pm to the world of Budapest cafés of the 1920s and 1930s, because the Kölcsey Center Budapest Bar step up.

The band reinterprets the well-known couplets, film hits, dance songs and other popular melodies based on gypsy music, combined with jazz, pop, rock, swing, klezmer and many musical genres. Krisztián Szűcs, Vera Tóth, Róbert Farkas, Károly Ökrös, Richárd Farkas, Bence Kisvári and Sándor Ürmös. As a special experience, the musicians perfectly combine different styles, including the most excellent Hungarian singers.

The production is completely unique and world-class, they have been giving full married concerts in the most important concert halls and theaters of the country and the world for almost fifteen years.

Their latest album, The If You Can Do album – which, in addition to old concert favorites, has included new adaptations and four new songs written by the singers of the Budapest Bar – has eternal themes: desire and love.
