He had created his own “drug warehouse“right under the staircase that connects via del Lagaccio to via Bari, in an area well protected by vegetation and away from prying eyes. SY, a Tunisian already known to the police, ended up in handcuffs personal “pantry”, in fact, the drugs needed to supply one came out dense network of small and medium-sized pushers mainly active in the historic center, in a network of shops that bought drugs from the Lagaccio logistical base which were then sold to final consumers.
To make the policemen suspicious was the unusual comings and goings along the steps, where the agents had before the activity of the Tunisian was filmed, then they stopped him, surprising him just as he was taking a wrapper with 100 grams of cocaine. From the search, also conducted with the help of the dog unit, the police found many other packages, for a total of 1.2 kilograms of cocaine and about 300 grams of heroin, for an estimated value, once placed on the market, of about 130 thousand euros. The drug had already been divided into blocks of about 100 grams each, ready to be like the pusher.
